End of Summer Bash

Field trip: BMX show at Bancroft Elementary
The children will have the opportunity to watch an exciting BMX show. This event will showcase skilled riders performing various tricks and stunts, providing a thrilling experience. Not only will the children enjoy the impressive display of athleticism, but they will also have the chance to learn about bike safety and the importance of practice and determination.

Field trip: La Veranda
The children will embark on an exciting trip to La Veranda restaurant for lunch. They will have the opportunity to experience dining outside of their usual environment, exploring new tastes and enjoying a meal together. After finishing their lunch, the group will head to the nearby playground.
DIY Ice Cream in a bag
The children will be participating in a fun activity where they will be making their own ice cream by mixing different ingredients in a bag.
Make your own snowcones
The children will have the opportunity to create their own snowcones. Each child will receive a cup of finely shaved ice as their base. A variety of flavored syrups will be available for them to choose from. At the end of the activity, each child will get to enjoy their unique snowcone creation, celebrating their choices and the fun of making it themselves.
Visitor: Bricks 4 Kidz
The children will have the opportunity to engage in a fun and educational activity with Bricks 4 Kidz, where they will build with Legos. This hands-on experience encourages creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork as children work together to construct various models.
Egg Drop Contest
The egg drop challenge is an exciting activity designed to encourage creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking among the children. Each participant will design and construct a protective structure for an egg using various materials provided at the center. This year, Dianne Adair Day Care will host a special 4th of July celebration for the children. The event will take place on July 3rd, allowing families to enjoy the official holiday together. We look forward to a joyous and memorable day!

The children will be taking a bus to the Oakland Zoo. This exciting excursion will provide an excellent opportunity for them to learn about various animal species and their habitats. Parents are reminded to ensure that all children wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear for walking. A packed lunch and a refillable water bottle will also be necessary to keep everyone energized throughout the day.
