Summer camp for the week of 6/9 - 6/13 will be on the Eagle Peak Campus

We are starting Summer off with a BANG! Returning to entertain our summer campers is the Science Wizard. I have seen him a handful of times and his show is always riveting…. and sometimes explosive!

Lunch is provided. We will be serving ground beef tacos and have a variety of toppings. Refried beans, cheese, lettuce, sour cream and more!

We will head to the park adjacent to the school and work on some basic soccer drills and then have friendly game.

Master Percussionist James Henry is part musician, part life motivator. His calming cadence and ability to capture the kids attention while taking us on a worldly tour of musical instruments is mesmerizing. The kids get to participate and play the instruments and sing and dance as well.,

We will watch an all ages appropriate movie and enjoy popcorn, all in the comforts of our classroom.

The kids will get to select a Jamba juice and we will be ordering, picking up and bringing back their healthy smoothie

We will take the children by MDUSD school bus to Rockin’ Jump in Concord. Its a very fun trampoline park. There are huge trampoline area, a foam pit to jump into and a dodgeball trampoline area. There are also rock climbing areas that the kids can use.

In observance with Juneteenth, Dianne Adair Daycare will be closed

A great show with a variety of animals. Part of the show swill be interactive with the children being able to touch or hold some of the animals in the exhibit

We will make fans out of paper plates, a great self cooling tool and a fun activity

Kids love making creative art out of junk (cardboard boxes, straws, paper towel dowels etc). They will create their art and can decorate it with paints, stickers and streamers.

We will travel to Chuck E Cheese via MDUSD school bus. Children will have time to have pizza and an hour of unlimited gameplay before returning to campus.

Ms. Alisa, an art teacher at Bancroft will be coming to do an creative art project with our students. In years past she has done glow in the dark painting and a cool air foam ice cream art project. One of my favorite visitors.

The kids love making melting bead creations. It is a great STEAM and Fine motor skill as the children use their imagination to create a beaded creation that a teacher will use an iron to melt or fuse them together.

We will travel to our Ayers site close to Highlands. We have a company providing the petting zoo for our children on site.

We use flag football flags to play a variety of fun and creative games of tag.

We will travel by MDUSD School bus and spend the morning and early afternoon exploring and learning about Zoo Animals.

we will have a Zumba instructor on location to take us around the world…Zumba Style.

We will have a variety of water play activities! Water balloons and a slip and slide.

We will make shark themed cootie catchers

We will travel via MDUSD school bus to Clayton Valley Bowl. We will bowl a minimum of one game and then return to campus.

The very popular shaved ice truck, SNOWIE, will be coming to us to deliver great shaved ice.

We will be making sailboat's out of sponges

We will travel by MDUSD Bus to Dave & Busters. All our Dianne Adair sites will be on hand for this private event.

We will use cardboard boxes and other craft materials to create a diy cardboard pinball machine

This is a great steam and creative craft. The children will make a parachute and a basket to hopefully protect the egg from breaking

An excellent STEAM activity. Students work together to make a really cool lego brick build.

We will be making everyone a snow cone to enjoy

when Science meets Cooking! We will have the kids make their own ice cream using cream, sugar and vanilla. POlace it all in a bag with ice and rock salt and shake shake shake….and eat

We will travel from HL campus to the Grove park in downtown clayton via MDUSD school busses. We will play in the park and playground and then gather together for lunch at the Veranda Cafe in Clayton (adjacent to the park)

Chef Habib, executive Chef of Luna and Fiore in Concord will be coming in to teach the class a cooking lesson.

Germar the magician has been a part of our Summer Camps for a few years now. He has great magic tricks that I cannot even begin to explain

Jungle James brings in a variety of rainforest and jungle creatures and animals. The presentation is hands on and very educational.

First Day of school. Childcare will be operating as normal for morning care from 7 am to 8:15 am. And after school care as well
