Dianne Adair Enrichment Programs

Dianne Adair Enrichment Programs operates licensed quality before and after school child care programs in your neighborhood schools. We have well trained staff who enjoy working with children. Our main goal is to provide your children with care, supervision and a happy place away from home. We offer many enrichment activities including art, sports, science, movies, field trips, homework help or just relaxing with a good book.

The Center welcomes all children who are between 4 yrs. 9 mos. and 12 years of age.

Hours of Operation

The Enrichment Programs will be open weekdays between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. It will also be open during spring, winter and summer vacations. However, it will be closed on legal holidays and the week proceeding the first day of the fall semester. The pre kindergarten program operates between 9 am and noon, Monday through Friday.

Enrollment Procedures

All enrollment forms must be completed and an interview with a Center Administrator must occur prior to admission. Forms that must be completed are: Emergency information, personal rights, medical assessment, parents rights, excursion release, insurance and admission agreement.

Upon enrollment, a non-refundable annual September to September registration fee of $40, Summer Registration $30 ($60 if purchased together). All children must be enrolled annually.

It is the parents' responsibility to notify the Center regarding any changes on their enrollment forms.

Medical and Dental Procedures

If any children get ill at the Center, their parents will be notified and the children will be isolated and made as comfortable as possible. Arrangements must be made to pick up an ill child within one hour.

In the case of a medical or dental emergency the parents will be notified, first aid given and if necessary an ambulance will be called.

Medicine will only be dispersed if the medicine is in the original prescription bottle with the child's name and specific instruction on amount and frequency of dosage.

Field Trips

We frequently go on fieldtrips within the community. We have busses and qualified drivers to insure the safety of your child.

Information regarding fieldtrip are posted in the center and a parent must sign up and pay for any cost before your child can go. Space is limited and it is on a first come basis.

We abide by the 60 pound or 6 years of age car seat regulations when we go on driving fieldtrips.

Personal Articles

The Day Care Center is not responsible for any toys, books, or other items brought from home.

Absences

Parents must notify the center whenever their child will not be attending Day Care during their contracted hours. A $10 "Finders Fee" will be charged if a student does not attend on a contracted day and the center is not notified. Failure to noify the center of absences may eventually result in disenrollment.

If your child is suspended from school state law requires that the suspended student remain off campus. If the suspension occurs on a contracted day you will still be responsible for payment even though your child will not be able to attend.

Fees will not be credited for any absences of less than seven consecutive school days. Credit will be given for the eighth day and any following consecutive days.

Snacks and Lunches

Snacks will be provided daily in the afternoon. When Day Care is open all day a sack lunch must be brought from home if your child is attending during lunchtime.

Signing In and Out

Parents or an authorized person must come into the Center to sign their children in and out. The Center is responsible for the children from the time they are signed in until the time they are signed out.

Failure to sign your child out with a signature and time will result in a charge of $10 per incident.

A staff member will sign your child in and out when they leave or return from school.

Late Pick Ups

If a child has not been picked up by 6:00 an authorized person will be called and arrangement will be made for them to pick up your child.

A late fee of $5 will be charged for every 15 minutes or fraction thereof. If a child has been picked up after 6:00 more than 3 times within a school year a late fee of $1 per minute per child will be charged.

The late fees must be paid at the time the child is picked up.

Disenrollment

A two-week notice is required prior to disenrolling your child. If a child is disenrolled without 2 weeks notice the parent is still responsible to pay for the two weeks.

Failure to comply with any of the policies can result in disenrollment.

A child may be disenrolled immediately if they cause any harm to themselves, other children or any staff member. They may also be asked to disenroll if the child leaves the Center without permission.

Payments will be refunded for any unused contracted time when the Center disenrolls a child.

Licensing

Community Care Licensing has the authority to interview children or staff and inspect and audit child or facility records without prior consent. They also may observe the physical condition of the children, including conditions which could indicate abuse, neglect, inappropriate placement, and have a licensed medical professional physically examine the child.
